The PA-15 Nitride M4 carbine has been a go-to for years, and in 2026 it still holds strong. I have run countless ARs over the years, from high end builds to beaters. Straight talk, this thing is not a precision sniper or Gucci gun, but it runs like a champ eats cheap ammo reliably and leaves plenty of cash for ammo optics or upgrades.

PSA cranks these out in-house with solid specs. The classic 16 inch nitride M4 carbine in 5.56 NATO keeps showing up as one of the best entry level rifles.
